How to Convert Pints to Cups
The conversion is simple. In the US measurement system, 1 pint equals 2 cups. That's it. So if you have a number of pints and want to know how many cups that is, you just multiply by 2.
This works for liquids like water, milk, broth, and cream, as well as dry goods measured by volume. Most recipes you'll find in American cookbooks use this standard, so once you've got the 1-to-2 ratio locked in, you're good to go.
