How to Convert Kelvin to Fahrenheit
The conversion is a two-step process. Kelvin and Celsius share the same degree size, so the easiest path goes through Celsius first, then on to Fahrenheit.
- Subtract 273.15 from your Kelvin value to get Celsius.
- Multiply that result by 9/5 (or 1.8), then add 32 to get Fahrenheit.
You can also combine both steps into one formula, which is what most people do once they've done it a few times. Either way, you'll get the same answer.
